To describe this past week. Bobo got a farm, and two ponds, a barn and maybe some chickens make the place a perfect getaway.
Next item: Here's the truth. Jack Ingram is my hero. Yay and I saw him in concert at Gruene Hall for our first date nearly five years ago and he was just as good if not better last night. Because it's not just music, it's an experience, like a mini-comedy show in between the songs which make the songs that much more personal and real. Truly, last night's show was the best I've ever been to. Proof that everyone is either having fun (or under the influence).
The small venue (Eddie's Attic) had us sitting at a table about five feet from Jack; Yay shook his hand too which I'm pretty sure made his life, (and his birthday since this was his gift). And side note, this place didn't allow smoking (awesome, thank you), and they have a "Responsible Listening" policy which keep the riff raff from ruining everyone else's fun, (also awesome, thank you).
Yay took a bunch of pirated video using his iPhone, which turned out really amazing, but he won't let me post it because he has high moral integrity and doesn't want the FCC or whoever monitors that stuff to come and take our house and dogs away. But trust me when I say that even though I've never gone through the famous-person-idol stage, Jack may be the coolest guy I've ever not really met but been really close to and heard him tell personal stories to 40 of my closest neighbors.

I'll request he "break the law" just this one time, you know, for family. :)

Well, he can at least email the videos to his sister and brother in law who are also big Jack fans! I promise we won't turn him in to the authorities.
