After the heartache of Goose, Yay and I felt like it was time to move on. So instead of getting one new pup, we got two. One for each of us. Yes, we know we are crazy, but nonetheless, we would like you to meet the newest additions to our home, Gus and Lady. They are exactly what we were looking for after Goose: Big, lazy dogs. Low maintenance. Gentle, and LOVE to be loved on. Daily, we are amazed by the amount of food they eat, how much they want to eat, and how content they are to just lay down. What a welcome change. You can already tell that they have distinct personalities: Lady is going to be the trouble maker. She loves giving kisses and hugs but is much more likely to chew on unapproved toys and to mess in the house. She is certainly the more outgoing one. Gus is a lot more laid back, prefers to take things in from afar, (unless he's chasing Lady), and is already a model student in potty training. We'll get the best and worst of both worlds.
Originally, we only planned on Lady. We went and picked her out and during the week we were waiting to bring her home, Yay starts saying, "Hey...Hey...so, what if we got two?" We'd talked about getting another one for Goose, so what's the difference, other than you get to do all the puppy stuff at once, for better or worse? So we called the breeder, ( a doll, by the way), and said we wanted a brother for her. So then there were four. Can't wait for you to meet them. The house should smell better by then.
how adorable! They look like they would be great to snuggle with.
